Thank you, Tina, for helping me!
Thank you, ladies of our space, and Dotty for welcoming our family and for working with our daughter.
Our son was having a very challenging time at school during the summer term of 2023. He’s been seeing Louise since August 2023. This weekend, May 2024 he said, “I wish I was going to see Louise when I was in year 3 because I would have been able to enjoy it so much more.”
My daughter has obviously improved her confidence and self esteem since starting play therapy. She really enjoys the sessions and has developed a stronger, more confident sense of self. Thank you!
We are so grateful for the lovely, warm atmosphere Tina and Louise have created. Our child feels at ease, seen and is making great progress working with Louise. Thank you so much for the calm, professional, consistent and kind service you offer. We feel very supported.
My child has been seeing Tina for over 12 months. There is no doubt that her work with my child has been of significance value to him, particularly through the process of being diagnosed as autistic- something which was not even on the radar when we started coming. The difference in my child’s emotional and self-awareness is clear, as is his ability to recognise and express his feelings. Tina’s work with him and understanding of my child will have a lasting impact for him. I’m so pleased we found our space.
I wanted to take some time to work through the report and I finally have been able to. I really appreciate you putting this together and for the support you have given my child. She instantly felt calm and safe in your presence and that says a lot about you and the environment you create. So thank you. It has been lovely getting to know you.
“I have been working with Tina and her team at Ourspace play therapy for a number of years now and am so impressed by the positive impact of their work on individual students.
The team of therapists take time to get to know the individual, their needs and find an approach that suits. Liaison with school staff has been key. The play therapy approach has been particularly useful for young people on the autistic spectrum, having a positive impact on their self awareness, confidence and ability to navigate the challenges of the world. In one particular case the young person has been supported to attend school, flourish and thrive both emotionally and educationally.”
