Hello my name is Jess,
I have over 10 years of experience working with children, young people and their families. I started my career as a teaching assistant within mainstream education and wanted to pursue my work with children by supporting their emotional development.
I became a fully qualified Dramatherapist in 2015. It was a brilliant experience and taught me so much about how creative therapies can really support our emotional growth. I have worked alongside families who have suffered bereavements, supported young people affected by substance use and worked with young people with additional needs.
Through my own continued development, I have gone on to qualify as a level 1 Sandstory therapist and I am currently training as a Play Therapist with the Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy (APAC) at diploma level; having qualified as a certified therapeutic play practitioner last year.
My favourite medium to use in the therapy space is the sand tray. I love the versatility of the sand, which can bring about new perspectives for children and young people as well as offering safety to express, promote connection and can support with grounding. I use the sand regularly myself to help regulate and take time for myself, which provides me with important self-care as a therapist.

Hello my name is Rachael,
I offer nondirective, integrative holistic play therapy to children aged 5-14.
My experience is with a range of referral reasons including poor self esteem, self harm, loss and bereavement and early childhood trauma.
